Inaugural address & Panel Discussion: Role of Corporates in bringing sustainability to artisan sector in
India. Over the years, various cultural entrepreneurs across the world have endeavored to make the artisan sector sustainable. Various testimonies were shared by cultural entrepreneurs at the recent Global Entrepreneurship Summit 2017 in Hyderabad– all of them alluding to the fact that whenever a Corporate decides to support the artisan sector by bringing heritage art/craft based products within the scope of CSR or corporate gifting, it makes a significant impact on the sustainability of artisan enterprises and as a result – makes a difference in the lives of artisans. Hence this year’s TAES Inaugural Conference is based on Corporates’ Role in bringing sustainability to the artisan sector in India.
